RemoteWorkUSA is operated by UX LABS S.R.L., a company registered in Romania (CUI 53014554), with its registered office at Str. Rotundă, Nr. 1, Camera 2, Bl. Y1B, Sc. 2, Et. 9, Ap. 82, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania. In these terms we call ourselves "we", "us", or "RemoteWorkUSA", and we call you "you".
These terms apply to everyone who uses the site — whether you are browsing jobs, subscribing to our newsletter, or buying a featured listing. By using RemoteWorkUSA you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Sections 1 to 8 and 10 to 13 apply to everyone. Section 9 applies additionally if you buy a featured listing.
If you are agreeing to these terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
RemoteWorkUSA is a job board. We collect and display remote and hybrid job openings that are open to applicants in the United States, and we make them searchable by category, location, and remote status.
We are not a recruiter, a staffing agency, or an employer. We are not party to any application, interview, negotiation, or employment relationship between you and any company listed on the site. Applications happen entirely on the employer's own website — we simply link to them.
Browsing and searching RemoteWorkUSA is free, and does not require an account.
Most listings are collected automatically from publicly available company career pages, then reviewed before publication.
We want to be straightforward about how we do this:
If you are a company and you would prefer not to be listed, email [email protected]. We will remove an individual listing, or stop collecting from your career page entirely, at your request. We aim to action removal requests within 5 business days.
Job descriptions remain the copyright of the companies that wrote them.
Before a listing goes live, we review it. That review includes checking that the company has a genuine public presence — for example a LinkedIn or Glassdoor profile — that the role appears to be genuinely remote or hybrid and open to US applicants, and that the listing is not obviously spam, a scam, or a pyramid or multi-level marketing scheme.
There are real limits to what this can tell us. We cannot verify an employer's intentions, whether a role is genuinely open, whether the pay or benefits described are accurate, whether the company treats its staff well, or whether the person you end up speaking to is who they say they are.
So: listings are provided for information, and you use them at your own risk. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or legitimacy of any listing, and we do not endorse any employer.
Please apply the same caution you would anywhere online. A legitimate employer will never ask you to pay a fee to apply, to buy your own equipment up front, to provide bank details before you are hired, or to accept and forward payments. If a listing on our site leads to something like this, please tell us at [email protected] so we can remove it.
We remove listings when:
We may remove any listing at any time, for any reason, without notice. Section 9 explains how this interacts with paid featured listings.
Listings remain live for as long as the role appears to be open and we continue to operate the site. We do not guarantee that any listing will remain available for any particular period.
You may browse, search, and share links to RemoteWorkUSA freely. You may not:
We may block access, remove content, or take other action if we believe you are breaching this section.
What belongs to us. The RemoteWorkUSA name and brand, the design and layout of the site, our written content including blog articles, and our compilation of job listings — the selection, categorisation, normalisation, and arrangement of them — belong to us and are protected by copyright, database rights (including the sui generis database right under EU law), and other intellectual property laws.
What does not. Individual job descriptions remain the copyright of the companies that wrote them. Company names and logos belong to those companies, and are shown to identify the employer offering each role.
You may link to any page on RemoteWorkUSA. You may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with details of the work, the URL, and your contact details.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it accurate and running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing is accurate or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or wasted time, arising from your use of the site — including any dealings with an employer you found through it.
Our total liability to you, for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the site, is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and (b) fifty US dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
This section applies if you purchase a featured listing.
A featured listing is pinned to the top of the job list and visually highlighted for 30 days from the date it goes live. After those 30 days it remains on the site as a standard listing, subject to section 5.
The price is shown at checkout. Payment is taken by Stripe before we review your submission.
Every submission is reviewed before it goes live. We may decline a listing that is not genuinely remote or hybrid, is not open to applicants in the United States, is a scam, a pyramid or multi-level marketing scheme, an unpaid position advertised as employment, or otherwise breaches these terms or our editorial standards.
If we decline your listing, we refund you in full.
Other than a declined submission, featured listings are non-refundable once live.
In particular, no refund is due if:
If a listing fails to appear for the full 30 days because of an error on our side, we will either extend it by the missing time or refund you pro rata, at your choice.
The application deadline you provide at checkout takes effect after the 30-day featured period ends. If the deadline you gave has already passed by then, the listing is removed at that point. Your 30 days of featuring always run in full.
We make no guarantee as to the number or quality of applicants, or that your role will be filled. What you are purchasing is placement and visibility on the site for 30 days, and nothing more.
You confirm that the role you are submitting is genuine and currently open, that you are authorised to advertise it, that the information you give us is accurate, and that the listing complies with applicable employment and advertising law — including equal opportunity and pay transparency requirements where they apply.
You grant us permission to display the job description, your company name, and your company logo on the site and in related promotion of the listing.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive periodic emails about new listings and remote work. Subscription is double opt-in — you must confirm your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change is material, we will say so prominently on the site.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Please contact us first. If something goes wrong, email [email protected]. Most problems can be sorted out quickly and informally, and we would much rather do that than argue about it. We ask that you give us 30 days to resolve a complaint before taking any further step.
If we cannot resolve it, any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts of Delaware, or in small claims court where the claim qualifies. You and we each agree to bring claims only individually, and not as part of any class or representative action.
Nothing here removes any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in the place where you live, including your rights under applicable data protection law. Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
These terms are the entire agreement between us regarding your use of RemoteWorkUSA, and replace any earlier understanding.
