About Hightouch

Hightouch is an Agentic Marketing Platform powered by the industry-leading Composable CDP. With complete brand context, customer data, and performance history in one place, every marketer finally has the power to build and ship end-to-end campaigns themselves. Teams move faster, stay on brand, and get AI marketing that actually works.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in San Francisco, Hightouch enables marketing teams to analyze performance, brainstorm ideas, and generate creative at a speed and quality that wasn't previously possible.

Named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Customer Data Platforms, Hightouch is trusted by leading enterprises like Domino's, Spotify, Aritzia, Cars.com, Ramp, and PetSmart.

At Hightouch, our mission is to help our customers leverage data and AI to grow their businesses. The team is ambitious, impact-driven, efficient — and we believe humility, kindness, and compassion are essential to our success. If you're energized by velocity, obsessed with raising the bar, and want to build alongside people who care deeply about each other and our customers, we'd love to meet you.

Why this role matters

You'll be designing the future of agentic marketing at a critical inflection point. We're not just moving data anymore. We're building AI agents that make real-time, data-driven decisions across entire customer journeys. This is 0-1 product work in a space where the rules are still being written.

The opportunity is massive. Hightouch is investing heavily in Agents, and you'll be on the team doing the groundbreaking work. We're talking about tools that blend first-party data with machine learning models to unlock outcomes that were literally impossible before. Fast-moving, high-stakes, high-reward.

The design team

We're a talented team spanning coast to coast, all remote-first. You'll grow faster here because we don't have layers of process or bureaucracy slowing you down. You ship. You learn. You iterate. Repeat.

How we work:

  • Weekly crits: Bring your work, get constructive feedback from relevant stakeholders.
  • Design jams: We jam on the big stuff as a team (color palettes, new patterns, practice retros).
  • Design system: We've invested in our system since day one. Expanding library, regular sync with engineering.
  • Design cooldown: Bi-weekly sessions where we experiment with new tools, run design exercises, and work on side projects that have nothing to do with our roadmap. Past activities include building interactive prototypes in Framer, exploring AI design tools, and collaborative illustration sessions.

We don't just talk about craft. We live it. Check out our 2025 recap to see a sample of what we shipped last year.

You'll be surrounded by talented and collaborative folks, which means you're constantly learning from people who challenge the way you think. No stagnation here.

What you'll do

You'll create and iterate on powerful tools for marketing teams using our Agents product suite. This means:

  • 0-1 innovation: You're building new products in uncharted territory.
  • Rapid iteration: Demonstrate your thinking through rapid designs and prototypes, not endless presentations.
  • Product strategy: You'll connect directly with customers through research sessions, synthesize insights from usage data and feedback, and use that understanding to influence product direction and prioritization. Your voice will shape what we build.
  • Live collaboration: You'll work directly with other designers, engineers, and PMs to define product details as a team.
  • High growth: We don't expect you to know everything. We expect you to learn fast.

What you bring

  • 6+ years designing and shipping user-friendly features or applications in technical spaces (bonus: B2B data or marketing products).
  • Curiosity about AI: You're tinkering with new technologies constantly. You're not just watching AI from the sidelines.
  • Craft excellence: Your visual, UI, and interaction skills are sharp. You can take a user problem from idea to high-fidelity solution.
  • Team player mentality: You're kind, humble, and assume good intentions. You seek to understand before reacting.
  • Figma proficiency required. Bonus if you're comfortable in Cursor, Framer, or Claude Code.

The reality check

This role is not for everyone. If you need clear guardrails, slow iteration cycles, or a mature product to optimize, this isn't it. We're in rapid experimentation mode. Things are ambiguous. You'll need to be comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and iterating based on what we learn.

But if you want to work on products that didn't exist six months ago, with a team that moves fast and trusts you to own your domain, this is the place.

Interview process

  • Recruiter screen [30m]: Intro call.
  • Manager screen [30m]: First conversation with Elliot, who leads the product design team, to learn more about your history and career trajectory.
  • Team portfolio review [30m]: Review of your previous work.
  • Design exercise [60m]: Live exercise we'll run through together where we'll give you a problem and want to see how you begin breaking it down. No homework. Just jamming live on a problem similar to how we work daily.
  • Follow-up 1:1s [30m]: Meet members of the team to wrap up any final questions.

FAQs

  • This role is remote for North America. Optional offices in NY, SF, Charlotte
  • We don't use formal levels at Hightouch. "Senior" is a placeholder. Your compensation will match your actual experience and skills, and we'll scope the role to fit your capabilities.
  • We have limited inbound applications to one application per candidate. You will be auto-rejected if you apply to multiple roles. Please only apply to the position you are most qualified for.

E-Verify Statement

Hightouch participates in E-Verify. After you join the team, we'll verify your eligibility to work in the U.S. by submitting information from your Form I-9 to the Social Security Administration and, if needed, the Department of Homeland Security. This process happens post-hire only — we never use E-Verify to pre-screen applicants.

<p>We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.<br><br>We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.<br><br>World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.</p><p>Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.</p><h2>About the role</h2><p>*<em>Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.</em></p><p>We're looking for a Designer, Growth (Product Marketing) to sit at the intersection of brand, performance marketing, and generative media. This is not a brand systems or campaign concepting role — it's a high-volume, output-driven design role. You'll own the visual execution of paid and performance marketing across video, motion, and static formats, producing assets that are on-brand, well art directed and built to convert. You'll report to the Creative Director of Product Marketing.</p><p>Your work will directly shape how people first encounter and engage with Runway's products. That means producing scroll-stopping video ads, designing static and animated assets for paid social and display, and using generative tools — including Runway's own — as a core part of how you work. You'll partner closely with product marketing, growth, and creative teams, and you'll be measured on craft, throughput, and performance.</p><h2>What you'll do</h2><ul><li><p>Design and produce high volumes of performance marketing assets across video, motion, and static formats — paid social, display, YouTube and beyond</p></li><li><p>Use Runway to ideate, create and iterate on video and image assets that are on-brand and well art directed — not just technically functional</p></li><li><p>Own the visual execution of ad creative from concept through final delivery, working from briefs or generating your own directions when needed</p></li><li><p>Produce motion graphics and animated ads that communicate product value quickly and compellingly</p></li><li><p>Partner with the Product Marketing and growth team to develop integrated ad concepts where copy and design work together</p></li><li><p>Build and iterate on creative variants for A/B and multivariate testing — adapting formats, hooks and visual treatments based on performance data</p></li><li><p>Maintain a consistent visual language across all performance touchpoints without letting assets feel templated or stale</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with product marketing on go-to-market launches, translating new product capabilities into visual stories that resonate with target audiences</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience designing for the major paid channels (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc) with fluency in each platform's native specs, aspect ratios and ad formats, and a real point of view on what works where.</p></li><li><p>Own updates to GTM assets and templates, keeping them current and on-brand across campaigns. Bring hands-on experience building and automating deck design systems, so our presentations stay consistent without manual rework each time.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to a growing library of on-brand design components, motion templates and generative prompting strategies that raise the team's overall output velocity</p></li></ul><h2>What you'll need</h2><ul><li><p>3-5 years of experience in performance marketing design, motion design, or a related role at a tech or consumer company</p></li><li><p>A portfolio that shows range across video ads, motion graphics and static performance creative — with clear evidence of craft and art direction judgment, not just execution</p></li><li><p>Strong motion design skills — you're fluent in After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent, and can produce polished animated and video assets independently</p></li><li><p>Solid graphic design fundamentals — typography, layout, color — applied to high-converting ad formats, not just editorial or brand work</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience using AI image and video generation tools with an art director's eye — you know how to prompt, iterate and finish work that looks intentional</p></li><li><p>Comfort with performance data — you can look at creative metrics and know what visual changes to make next</p></li><li><p>Ability to operate at high velocity across multiple simultaneous campaigns without sacrificing quality</p></li><li><p>Experience working closely with growth marketers and product teams in a fast-moving environment</p></li><li><p>Experience in AI, creative tools or developer-adjacent products is a strong plus</p></li></ul><p>Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.</p><p>There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. non-technical audiences, including developers, marketers, executives, and enterprise decision-makers.</p></li><li><p>Confident presenting design work, concepts, explaining your decisions, giving and structures affect design.</p></li><li><p>Experience designing websites that need to support multiple audiences, products, content types, and marketing objectives at scale.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of accessibility standards, responsive behavior, page performance, SEO considerations, and browser constraints.</p></li><li><p>Experience using analytics, testing, heatmaps, or other behavioral data to improve website performance and conversion.</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern frontend frameworks is a plus, but this is a design role, not a development role.</p></li><li><p>Motion, interaction design, or prototyping experience is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Experience working closely with developers, product marketers, writers, motion designers, and other specialists to ship ambitious digital work.</p></li><li><p>Experience turning complex technical products into simple, compelling digital stories without oversimplifying the underlying idea.</p></li><li><p>Experience contributing to integrated marketing campaigns or product launches where a strong digital idea extended across web, paid media, social, motion, or other supporting channels.</p></li><li><p>Experience creating digital marketing systems that maintain a strong visual idea across multiple formats and touchpoints rather than treating each asset as a standalone execution.</p></li></ul><h2>What we can offer:</h2><ul><li><p>A highly-skilled, inspiring, and supportive team</p></li><li><p>Positive, flexible, and trust-based work environment that encourages long-term professional and personal growth</p></li><li><p>A globally diverse group of colleagues and customers</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive health plans and perks</p></li><li><p>A healthy
