About the Role

Tailscale is looking for an experienced Brand Designer to help bring our brand to life across every customer touchpoint. You'll create thoughtful, high-quality creative that helps people understand our products, builds trust with technical audiences, and supports some of our most important marketing initiatives.

This role reports to the Team Lead and partners closely with Brand, Growth, Web, Content, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations. You'll own projects from concept through execution, contribute to the evolution of our design systems, and help us scale creative output without sacrificing quality.

We're looking for someone who cares deeply about craft, thrives in collaborative environments but is able to work autonomously while requiring minimal direction, and enjoys solving complex communication problems through thoughtful design.

Key Responsibilities

 • Own brand design projects from creative brief through final delivery with limited guidance
 • Design high-quality creative assets across web, campaigns, events, social media, presentations, product marketing, and internal communications
 • Apply and thoughtfully extend Tailscale's visual identity across new formats and channels
 • Create reusable templates, design systems, and creative processes that improve consistency and efficiency
 • Partner closely with Growth, Web, Product Marketing, Content, and Developer Relations to deliver cohesive customer experiences
 • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and thoughtfully incorporate feedback
 • Balance multiple projects while consistently delivering polished, production-ready work
 • Contribute ideas that improve the quality, scalability, and effectiveness of our creative work

What We Are Looking For

 • 3+ years of professional experience in brand, marketing, or visual design
 • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design foundations: color theory, accessibility, typography, layout, and storytelling
 • Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
 • Experience designing for digital marketing, websites, campaigns, and brand systems
 • Strong understanding of production-ready design across digital and print
 • Excellent communication and presentation skills
 • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal oversight
 • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketers, writers, developers, and other designers
 • Strong attention to detail with a high bar for quality and consistency
 • Comfortable giving and receiving constructive design feedback
 • Actively seeks opportunities to refine processes, improve project organization, and make collaboration more effective through thoughtful recommendations.
 • Curious by nature, with a desire to learn about the technical world of networking.

Nice to Have

 • Experience designing for B2B SaaS or developer-focused products
 • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
 • Motion design or animation experience
 • Illustration or icon design experience
 • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web design constraints
 • Experience supporting experimentation, conversion optimization, or growth marketing initiatives
 • Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
 • Experience art-directing or mentoring junior designers

As a company, we strive to maintain fair and equitable compensation practices within our team across all roles and all levels. Individual offers may vary based on experience and skill set.

US Pay Range

$117,750—$153,000 USD

Some roles require in-office collaboration depending on team needs, which will be clearly noted in the job description.
 • Employer-funded retirement contributions. Tailscale will match your retirement contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to a maximum annual employer contribution equal to 0.75% of your eligible compensation.
 • Connect with other Tailscalars IRL. Attend our annual company retreat, participate in team off-sites, and collaborate in person with teammates across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. • Paid time off and a healthy work-life integration. Our flexible, paid time off program supports you for any situation life throws your way, whether moving homes or travelling the world!
 • A build-your-own home office setup. You choose your own company-owned laptop (Mac or PC), receive a monthly home internet reimbursement, and $500 USD to customize your workstation to make it your own.
 • Paid parental leave program. We care about your life outside of work and encourage new parents to take advantage of parental leave top-ups (20 weeks for birthing parents, 16 weeks for non-birthing parents).

Lead Product Designer, Growth (Upper Funnel)

About The Team

At Mural, we’re reimagining how teams think and create together. The Design and Research team brings clarity to complexity, shaping experiences that help people collaborate, ideate, and solve problems visually. We partner deeply with engineering, product, and research to invent the next generation of collaborative work combining craft, systems thinking, and bold exploration.

Your Mission

As a Lead Product Designer focused on Growth, you’ll define how Mural earns user trust at the moments that matter most when someone first encounters the product's value, decides to go deeper, or chooses to stay.

This is end to end growth journey ownership. It's about designing the logic of how Mural grows: the moments where clarity converts, where friction is a design failure, and where the line between growth and product quality either holds or breaks. You'll work across discovery, activation, and pricing surfaces, onboarding paths, upgrade flows, lifecycle touchpoints, and in-product nudges. Most importantly, you'll orchestrate how those surfaces work together and set the standard for how growth design is practiced at Mural.

You'll succeed if you can bring full journey thinking, rigor and craft to a domain that often defaults to shortcuts and if you can help a cross-functional team understand what good growth design actually looks like.

What You'll Do

Player Responsibilities (Individual Contributor Work):

Define high-quality, user-centered discovery, activation, and monetization experiences across problem to success flows, upgrade flows, pricing surfaces, and lifecycle touchpoints — setting patterns that scale across the platform.

Work from concept to production, delivering thoughtful UX, polished visual design, and vibe coded prototypes that help the organization understand direction, risk, and value.

Use behavioral data as a primary design input: interpret funnel metrics, experiment results, and user signals to inform design decisions, not just validate them.

Design and lead experiments across acquisition, activation, and expansion funnels — from hypothesis formation through read-out, in close partnership with product and data science.

Establish reusable growth patterns in Mural's design system that balance clarity, persuasion, and long-term user trust.

Partner with engineers to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation of flows and components.

Coaching Responsibilities (Practice Leadership):

Directly manage one to three designers on the growth surface: run regular 1:1s, set goals, give performance feedback, and support their career growth.

Balance IC output with people leadership — this is a hands-on management role, not a full-time management track. Expect the majority of your time to remain in design work.

Model how to hold craft and commercial intent simultaneously — showing peers what it looks like to design for conversion without compromising user trust.

Mentor designers working on growth-adjacent surfaces, developing their instincts around hierarchy, motivation, friction, and funnel thinking.

Contribute to how the team understands growth design as a discipline: a principled approach to earning user commitment.

Champion the relationship between growth quality and product quality, helping leadership understand when they align and when they're in tension.

Partner with research, data science, and product to elevate experimentation quality across the organization.

Hybrid Responsibilities (Both Player & Coach):

Reframe problems at the funnel level helping teams understand where value is earned or lost and why.

Lead workshops or working sessions that bring clarity to pricing, packaging, onboarding, and upgrade moment opportunities.

Collaborate with product, research, and data science to define success metrics, shape experiment hypotheses, and interpret outcomes.

Advocate for user trust as a growth asset, not an obstacle to conversion — and model how design holds that line.

Design & Research Team Contribution:

Share growth approaches for designing discovery, onboarding, and identity flows with peers through critique and collaboration.

Partner with research, data, and product teams to elevate experimentation quality and improve how Mural understands user value signals.

Contribute to a culture of design excellence, especially in areas where growth and monetization intersect with core product experiences.WHAT YOU'LL BRING

5+ years of product design experience working on complex applications, ideally in PLG, SaaS, or self-serve products.

Comfort working in fast-moving, experiment-driven environments with frequent iteration and learning.

Experience designing in-product discovery, onboarding, sign-up, or activation flows.

Exceptional craft: visual clarity, spacing, motion, and interaction polish are second nature.

Strong interaction design skills and a careful approach to visual polish, hierarchy, motion, and clarity.

Ability to design within systems, understanding how decisions cascade across surfaces and journeys.

Experience partnering with product and data teams to interpret behavioral insights, experiment results, or funnel metrics.

Curiosity and proactive problem solving: you explore edge cases, anticipate constraints, and think beyond the immediate brief.

Empathy for first-time users and sensitivity to trust, motivation, and cognitive load.

Strong communication skills that help cross-functional partners make smart, user-centered decisions.

What you’ll bring

8+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, productivity tools, collaboration software, or product-led growth environments.

A track record of leading growth, monetization, or conversion-focused design work — not just contributing to it.

Deep fluency in funnel thinking: you understand acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion as a connected system, not isolated moments.

Strong data instincts: you can read behavioral data, interpret experiment results, and use both to sharpen design decisions.

Exceptional craft: visual clarity, spacing, motion, and interaction polish are second nature.

Systems thinking: you understand how decisions cascade across surfaces, journeys, and user relationships over time.

Experience mentoring or leading other designers, even informally — you know how to raise the quality of work around you.

Strong communication skills that help cross-functional partners make smart, user-centered decisions.

Comfort operating in spaces where patterns don’t yet exist and playbooks need to be written.

Also great if you bring

Experience with pricing architecture, packaging strategy, or monetization model design.

Deep experience mapping and designing activation journeys — the full arc from first action to genuine value realization.

Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools and vibe coding to prototype growth flows, simulate behavioral nudges, and stress-test funnel logic in motion — treating code as a design material for rapid exploration.

Background in organic acquisition or activation funnels at scale.

Familiarity with AI-assisted experiences or contextual intelligence in growth flows.

Experience working with data science teams on experimentation frameworks or causal inference.

History of shaping 0→1 growth systems or redesigning broken acquisition or retention loops.

Why you’ll love Mural

You’ll help shape how millions of people discover value in Mural, understand what the product can do for them, and make confident choices about their journey. You’ll design experiences that balance business goals with user trust, clarity, and delight. You’ll collaborate with thoughtful partners who care about evidence, craft, and outcomes.

At Mural, we “drink our own champagne” and use our product daily to collaborate, ideate, and prototype together. This role is Canada Remote. Your design work will shape how millions of people around the world collaborate.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Equal Opportunity

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team:

Web Presence & Platform (WPP) is organized into two pillars: Platform and Presence. The Platform pillar builds internal systems, tooling, and infrastructure to support the web. The Presence pillar owns Stripe’s public-facing storytelling across stripe.com, including our homepage, product landing pages, industry and solutions pages, and other high-impact go-to-market surfaces. Together, we shape how millions of people understand what Stripe is and what it can do for them.

Designers on the Presence team work at the intersection of craft and impact—balancing clarity, polish, and systems thinking with strategic storytelling and experimentation. We collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, content, and product to deliver work that is not only beautiful, but measurably moves the business.

What you’ll do

As a Designer on the Presence team, you'll contribute to the strategy and execution of Stripe’s most visible web surfaces. You’ll design new product pages, evolve storytelling for specific industries or audiences, and refine reusable patterns that make it easier to scale exceptional work across stripe.com. If you meet these, we encourage you to apply—even if you don’t meet every preferred qualification.

Minimum requirements

2–4 years of relevant design experience, ideally in web or product marketing contexts

A strong portfolio of web design work that demonstrates exceptional visual design skills, systems thinking, and attention to detail

Ability to independently scope and lead small to medium-sized projects

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Fluency in layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and interaction fundamentals

Comfortable using Figma and working in component-based systems

Experience working on CMS-driven websites and modular systems

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with front-end development workflows or an ability to speak fluently with engineers

Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices

Experience designing for international audiences or multilingual websites

Previous experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

How we work

We care deeply about craft—but also about moving with urgency and focus. We seek feedback early and often, because we believe design gets stronger through collaboration and iteration. We keep our users front and center—whether that’s a small business owner evaluating Stripe for the first time, or a CTO trying to understand a complex product at a glance. And we take pride in delivering work that is not only beautiful and precise, but that delivers clear, measurable impact.

We value curiosity, humility, and resilience. You’ll do well here if you love to learn, enjoy working across disciplines, and bring energy and optimism into your work.

This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow. Designers on the Presence team have gone on to lead major product launches, shape system-wide improvements, and take on leadership roles. You'll be supported by experienced peers and have space to develop your craft, influence, and ownership over time.

With complete brand context, customer data, and performance history in one place, every marketer finally has the power to build and ship end-to-end campaigns themselves. Teams move faster, stay on brand, and get AI marketing that actually works.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in San Francisco, Hightouch enables marketing teams to analyze performance, brainstorm ideas, and generate creative at a speed and quality that wasn't previously possible.

Named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Customer Data Platforms, Hightouch is trusted by leading enterprises like Domino's, Spotify, Aritzia, Cars.com, Ramp, and PetSmart.

At Hightouch, our mission is to help our customers leverage data and AI to grow their businesses. The team is ambitious, impact-driven, efficient — and we believe humility, kindness, and compassion are essential to our success. If you're energized by velocity, obsessed with raising the bar, and want to build alongside people who care deeply about each other and our customers, we'd love to meet you.

The Role

Most AI-generated ads still look like AI-generated ads. Generic lighting, off-brand color, the same five compositions on a loop. Brands that care about their identity have stayed on the sidelines because the output hasn't met their bar.

We're changing that. Hightouch's Agentic Marketing Platform is the system enterprise marketers are using to plan, generate, and ship campaigns with their data, their guidelines, and their voice. Our customers include Domino's, Chime, Spotify, Ramp, Whoop, and Grammarly. They are not going to settle for slop, and neither are we.

We're hiring a Forward Deployed Creative Designer, Ads to be the human who proves what's possible. You'll collaborate alongside our Solutions Engineering team on enterprise customer calls, translate brand guidelines into agentic workflows that actually produce on-brand work, and ship the creative that makes the case. You will be the most influential creative voice in the room, both for our customers and for our product.

You will define how the most recognizable brands in the world make ads with AI, and you will watch the work you direct ship to millions of impressions.

What You’ll Do

Drive Product Adoption: Partner directly with enterprise marketing teams to onboard them onto the Agentic Marketing Platform Ads, ensuring they see immediate value through high-quality creative output.

Master AI Workflows: Utilize advanced prompt engineering across leading generative AI models to create polished, on-brand, and performant ad creatives (imagery, video, and copy) tailored to complex client guidelines.

Consult & Strategize: Act as a creative consultant for top-tier brands. You will help clients understand how to merge traditional brand guidelines with agentic AI workflows, ensuring the output maintains a high bar for 'taste' and aesthetic quality.

Performance Optimization: Collaborate with clients to set up A/B tests, analyze creative performance data, and continuously refine prompts and strategies to drive higher ROI and conversion rates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product and engineering teams, providing ground-level feedback from enterprise clients to shape the future roadmap of our AI Decisioning and creative generation tools.

What You Bring

A portfolio that does the talking: Real ads, real product launches, real campaigns. Ideally with AI integrated into the workflow, but the bar is craft. If your work is exceptional, we want to see it. (Applications without a portfolio link will not be reviewed.)

Deep AI fluency: You don't need us to teach you what's new. You're already testing the latest image and video models the week they drop, you’re stringing them together in node based UIs, you have strong opinions about which ones get which jobs, and you know how to push them past their defaults to hit a specific look.

Enterprise client instincts: You've worked directly with sophisticated marketing teams, in-house, agency, or consultancy, and you know how to navigate brand reviews, legal, and the politics of getting work approved.

Performance marketing literacy: You understand the difference between an ad that wins a Cannes Lion and an ad that wins a CAC target, and you can hold both standards at once.

Taste: This is the hardest one to write a bullet for, so we'll just say it: you have it, your portfolio shows it, and you can articulate why something works.

You might be a fit if you are...

A Senior Art Director or Creative Lead at an agency who's frustrated with the pace, the layers of approval, and watching AI eat workflows you can't influence from where you sit.

An in-house Creative Lead at a DTC or consumer brand who's been quietly building AI workflows nights and weekends, and is ready to do it as the job.

A Creative Strategist at a Meta, Google, or TikTok partner shop who wants to be closer to the product and further from the deck.

A product or brand designer at a fast-moving startup who's been pulled into ads work, found you're great at it, and want to go all-in on the AI side.

Or you don't fit any of these neatly, but your portfolio is undeniable and you've been waiting for a role that takes AI in advertising seriously. Apply.

Why Hightouch?

You’ll be joining a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can directly impact the success of some of the world’s most recognizable brands. You will be at the absolute forefront of AI in marketing, helping to define how the industry uses agentic models to drive real revenue.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $140,000-$180,000 USD per year, which is location independent in accordance with our remote-first policy. We also offer meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options, and offer early exercise and a 10-year post-termination exercise window.

E-Verify Statement

Hightouch participates in E-Verify. After you join the team, we'll verify your eligibility to work in the U.S. by submitting information from your Form I-9 to the Social Security Administration and, if needed, the Department of Homeland Security. This process happens post-hire only — we never use E-Verify to pre-screen applicants.

E-Verify Notice
E-Verify Notice (Spanish)
Right to Work Notice
Right to Work Notice (Spanish)

About Vercel:

Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company. We free people and agents to ship what’s next.

For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.

Now, software is entering a new era, and the next generation of products will not just be used by people. They will be built, extended, and operated by agents.

We are building the platform for that future, trusted by companies like OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. Whether you’re building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you’ll help define what comes next.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Visual Designer to join our Website Design Engineering team. Your home base is Vercel's web presence, vercel.com, nextjs.org, product launches, and Ship, where you'll design pages, systems, and interactions that get built and shipped, not just handed off. But the impact is bigger than the site: you'll shape how the Vercel brand shows up in the world, from launch moments and event experiences to motion, illustration, and brand-partnership surfaces across digital and physical mediums. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with design engineers who turn design into production code, so your work lives on the real web at Vercel's bar for polish.

This is a role for a designer who thinks in systems and sweats the details: someone equally at home setting the typographic rhythm of a landing page, and shaping how a tier-one hero feels on first load.

First and foremost, this is a visual design role. Exceptional creativity and design craft for the web are what matter most. Our design engineers own turning design into production code, and you're encouraged to get hands-on in the medium yourself and carry an idea all the way to production when you want to. Either way, we're hiring you for your eye and your ideas, and coding is never a requirement. You will report to the Director of Website Design Engineering and can be remote or hybrid across our SF, NY, London, or Berlin hubs.

If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.

What You Will Do:

Define the visual language of Vercel's most-seen surfaces, vercel.com, nextjs.org, product launches, and Ship, and set a creative direction the whole team builds from.

Create the moments people remember: hero animations, launch films, event environments, and brand-partnership work that reaches across screen and physical space.

Own the creative vision end to end, from the first spark of a concept to the finished result shipped on the real web, alongside design engineers who turn your work into production code.

Set the craft bar: the typography, motion, and detail that make a page unmistakably Vercel, the kind of work other teams measure themselves against.

Move fluidly across mediums, web, motion, illustration, 3D, and identity, and raise the bar wherever the Vercel brand shows up.

Leave a mark on the system: influence Geist and our shared patterns through work good enough to become the standard.

About You:

Above all, a distinctive eye and original ideas. Exceptional visual design instincts and creativity are the heart of this role, and the web is where most of your work will live.

A portfolio spanning brand systems and work across multiple digital and physical mediums, anchored by strong, shipped web work. 8+ years of design experience.

Meaningful hands-on range across several of these: motion, 3D, illustration, environmental and event design, and interaction. This is a maker's role, and coding is not what we mean by hands-on.

Systems-minded: you design components and patterns, not one-offs, and think about how each choice fits a broader system.

You've shaped launch moments, events, or brand-partnership surfaces under real deadlines, and you know how to make a moment land.

You thrive collaborating with engineers and understand the web as a medium: how layouts behave, what's buildable, how design becomes code.

Comfortable in a technology-driven environment; experience with developer, B2B, or SaaS products is a plus.

A self-starter and egoless collaborator who takes feedback well and gives it generously.

Familiar with Vercel, with working knowledge or experience preferred.

Bonus If You:

Can prototype or bring ideas to life in code (React / Tailwind / Next.js).

Have contributed to a design system at scale (even if owning ours won't be your job).

Benefits:

Competitive compensation package, including equity.

Inclusive Healthcare Package.

Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.

Flexible Time Off.

We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $208,000 - $312,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

Vercel is committed to fostering and empowering an inclusive community within our organization. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Vercel encourages everyone to apply for our available positions, even if they don't necessarily check every box on the job description.
